where can i find info on 1969 ford truck transmissions?

i want to put a different transmission in my 1969 ford f-100 pickup. i am looking to find what transmissions i can use and/or what adaptations i need to do this.

i own a repair shop,and if knew the engine size i could tell you exactly what all would fit it,next time offer this information,and you,ll get a lot better answers on it,good luck .

Depends. What does it have now? What engine is in it? What are you wishing to do with it?
I own a 69 F100 also, and mine has a 390 V8 & a 4spd standard shift, but I may upgrade and put in a 460 and a 5spd, but that’ll be way down the road. At the same time I will put the 4×4 frame I have under it.
