I plan on importing a car in june or july to pay for my trip to whatever state I can find a car. What state do you suppose I can find quality used cars cheaper in ? Georgia , South Carolina , Florida , or North Carolina?
THANKS!

I would just go on Craigslist and there should be one for each state and you can look at all the used cars people post.

There is no reason why one state would be any cheaper than another, ignoring sales tax differences. But if you buy in one state with low sales tax, you might have to pay again in the state where you live. Sales tax rules differ by state. That should be part of your decision.

If a certain type of car were more popular in one area than another, prices would be higher for that type. For example, convertibles will be more expensive in South Florida than in North Carolina. On the other hand, pickup trucks could be more expensive in Georgia. But there is so much variation in used car prices anyway that any differences due to the state would be insignificant.
