Is the Scion tc as good on gas as a VW New Beetle? Whats is the difference between the two?

I have a 00′ New beetle and am considering trading it in for a Scion tc. Gas is soooo expensive nowadays! I need to know if this will put me out of pocket gas wise.

    The Scion tC is a little bigger than your VW. I think it would be just about as good on gas, but if that is your main concern,I do not think the Scion would be better.

    That depands on what size engine you have in the VW also do you do mre Highway or city driving? The tc is a larger vehicle I believe but I haven’t looked at the layouts. as far as fuel efficiency I think the tc would be more aerodynamic which would have an impact of fuel consumption. Also make sure you maintain the vehicle and check your tire pressure that has a dramatic effect in fuel consumption in any vehicle.
