it is a little larger than a colorado. the dakota has a larger bed but the colorado has more interior room its really up to you. i think the colorado is cheaper but idk. i am a dodge guy so i would go with the dakota.

Dodge drives better BUT the Chev is made to last, have you tried the GMC version? (Sierra) I guess it is called Canyon, second link.
