How do I turn on the cruise control on a 1989 Buick Century?

My 1989 Buick Century has Cruise control, I just got it, but since most of the markings have faded, I don’t know how to turn it on. Does anyone know how?

   Flip the switch on (one click)
   pushing it in increases the throttle
   pushing the button at the end of the stick will put it in COAST mode.

   Pushing the button at the end of the stick will also decrease speed.
