Even on a late car with auto levelling HID's, the adjustment still needs to be set correctly by the same method. you can set it with the car on level ground facing a wall, and adjust so the dipped beams are level with the height of the lights.. cover each light in turn, and check the direction so it is pointing straight ahead. Ideally, take the car to your local MOT testing centre, where they can check the lights on the beam setter.. they may charge a very small amount to adjust if needed.
