Will it affect the MPG or the electrical system of the car?

WHy not? you can install a system in anything.

well it is possible but i would stay away from a high power system cause that can affect your cars electricle system. better of consulting nissan or your local car audio store

Yes, you can install an amp and subs in any vehicle that has a 12 volt to 14.5 volt power supply, just as long as you have access to that exact voltage. I have never seen a car that couldn’t be upgraded, and i own a home and car audio business.

It’s not a problem whatsoever. Car stereo enthusiasts started by doing a system in a Toyota Prius which laid the path for all hybrids to follow.
It won’t affect the electrical system any differently then any normal car. And no … you won’t lose any MPG.
