Is cargo lights illegal lights on my 2000 Ford truck in Louisiana?

I was stopped about 3 years ago for having my cargo light on . This light comes on when you turn on your interior light. The supreme court of Louisiana says this light is illegal to turn on on the highway. I was stopped a few months ago by a Louisiana state trooper and was ordered of of my 2000 ford truck. I would not open my door because my cargo light comes on automatly when I open the door. I was charged with rezesting a state trooper Am I guilty because I would not open the door of my truck ? I did get out of my truck after the trooper opened the door.

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008Why do some people think it’s better to buy used cars?

I am in the process of buying a vehicle (1st for me), and people have recommended buying used versus new because they say new cars depreciate (sp?). I don’t really understand the concept because wouldn’t you be getting a better deal if you bought a new one? After all, with used cars you have to worry about mechanical issues and wonder if there might be something wrong with the car. However, new cars are just off the line. I’m kind of confused now and am not sure which one to choose. Which would you recommend? New or used? I don’t really care I just want something that works and won’t break down as soon as I start driving it.

What’s more economical? Always buying used cars, or driving a new car into the ground?

I have heard two arguments about the most economical way to buy cars over a life time. I’ve heard that if you buy a new car, never trade it in and drive it until the end of its natural life, you’ll end up saving the most money in repairs. I’ve also heard that always buying slightly used cars will end up saving you the most money, (though you have to replace them sooner since they have less shelf life.) Are either of these theories true?

And mortgages? And decent rates on credit cards… republican voters, i hope you can afford all your financing charges… quit complaining when you find yourself in difficulty, your on your own!
Cost of financing and loans are gonna go through the roof or stop all together without the bill.
