I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. When I make a U-turn or something similar, it makes a scraping or grinding sound. This is only when I turn left. It does this in reverse, also. (I think it’s louder in reverse.) I am not braking. It doesn’t scrape all the time, just when doing a hard turn. We checked the power steering fluid and it’s OK. Does anyone have any clues as to what this might be? I would appreciate any help you might have. Thanks so much!

I have a 1984 Toyota truck that makes a slight knocking sound or a “duh-duh-duh-duh-duh” sound while running. It doesnt seem to be affecting the way it runs and has been making this sound for a couple years now. Someone suggested i needed a valve adjustment. The trucks engine seems solid and this is probably a minor problem, but i want to provide any necessary maintenance before any serious problems arise. Any advice would be appreciated.
