Why do Honda steering wheels get very soft and smooshy after a few years’ use? They seem to become very soft and the material actually starts to move back and forth, especially on the places where it is most used. Is there a way to fix this? I looked at a replacement steering wheel for my 91 Accord and it’s $350 — which I thought was a bit outrageous.

I had a wreck in my Scion a few weeks ago and I am repairing it myself. I have found that there is a button on the car that was pushed, this button stops the engine when the front is compressed in. I dont know where this button is or how to switch it back into position so that I can start my engine. Is there anyone out there who could help me get this issue resolved so I can finalize repairs with my vehicle?

I have installed a Alpine radio and a Mtx Sub in my 2006 Scion Tc long time ago. Now I want to install back the factory radio. How do I connect the two red and black jacks from the Sub to the radio? I still want to have the sound system on. Help me!

I own a ‘92 Ford F150 5.0 liter. The truck runs fine but it developed a recent charging problem. The volt guage shoots up to 18 volts when I increase RPMs. It usually goes down to the normal range at idle speed. Is the alternator shot or could it be something else?

The Scion xD ranks 56th in the green ratings at 54, while getting 33/27 mpg. However, the Forester and Outback get much poorer mileage (29/22 and 28/23 respectively), and therefore would have much more emissions. Given that the amount of emissions for each vehicle would be amplified when you take into consideration the emissions over the life of the vehicle, yada yada yada. Why is the xD ranked so far below vehicles that it has CONSIDERABLY better mileage than?
